I’m just going to feature two videos this week. I get irrationally angry about Calories In/Calories Out, I watched Jeff’s video annoyed the whole time and picking out the concessions like admitting that sugar has other metabolic effects, that paleo style eating has advantages, that there is such a thing as empty calories, and that the hyper controlled lab experiment isn’t really helpful to the day-today life of people looking to lose weight and on and on…
So I’m glad Tom popped up with his video.
If you want a good overview of the topic here’s both videos. If you want my one sentence take on it it’s that if a calorie is a calorie no matter what then intermittent fasting wouldn’t work, ketosis wouldn’t be a thing, diabetes wouldn’t effect weight, and I’d still be gaining abdominal fat.
